Summer of Love – Pride Season Documentaries
To celebrate Pride Month, we’ve commissioned a series of documentaries which will air throughout June on Pride Radio.
These include:
Gone But Not Forgotten – Remembering the LGBT+ music icons who have sadly passed away but who stood up for equality and diversity. Featuring the music of Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, George Michael, Dusty Springfield and more.
What Pride Means To Me – We’ll be speaking to the LGBT+ community, and our allies, about the importance of Pride, their first memories of attending a march and what they think Pride will look like in 50 years.
The Night of The Stonewall Riots – On the eve of the 62nd anniversary of the riots, we look at what happened at the Stonewall Inn and the impact it had on the LGBT+ community.
Our first documentary airs this Sunday:
Five Years On: Remembering the Pulse Nightclub Attack – As we commemorate the fifth anniversary of the horrific terror attack on the Pulse Nightclub, Orlando, which killed 49 people and injured 53; we speak to those who were at the club and how the community has healed since this tragic event.
